...and what is this new taste for classical music that I have acquired? I suppose it's all adding to the pathos of studying classical rhetoric, Aristotle and Latin. All I need now is a good cup of tea and the professor from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Oh, and I suppose some scrolls may add to the atmosphere.
I am aware that the previous paragraph spanned way too many historical periods. At least I didn't say something about the Ming Dynasty....
Yeah, Rhetoric midterm tonight. I'm a tad scatterbrained. Prayer would be great. It's all well and good to wax eloquent about studying hard and then committing the results to God when its others who have exams...now is the real test.
Question of the semester: How does one bring glory to God through the act of studying itself?
2 have given a response:
What's wrong with the Ming Dynasty? I like it.
(Actually I don't. Not really. I much prefer the Qing Dynasty: many more storied to tell. But I just thought I'd voice a non-existance protest.)
Wishing you well on your midterm.
-the random visitor.
Ah hello dear random visitor. Don't get me wong, I wasn't dissing the Ming Dynasty at all...I just figured including it might push the disconnectivity of the general post a little too far for some people ;) But obviously not you...
